AAA Discounts is now actively promoting discount messaging on a variety of social media sites to include Facebook, MySpace and Twitter along with postings to the AAA Travel Views Blog. Below is an outline of how AAA Discounts is currently being marketed through the various social media channels. | Social Networking sites like Facebook and MySpace have proven to be a great tool to update members about the variety of every day discounts and special offers available to them. The AAA Facebook page has grown to a following of close to 2,000 people. MySpace is hard to determine because the page is public and it is not necessary to commit to following in order to view the content. There is commitment internally to post AAA Discount messaging about twice a week, so we have been actively supplying content that relates to special offers, new videos and helpful tips which you may have seen. We also have banner advertising in place within both sites. | |||

| AAA Discounts has been working with Travel to create a discounts presence. Banner advertising is in place which coincides with our seasonal campaign efforts. Special offer discount messaging had been provided bi-monthly, and partners are now actively participating through a guest blog option where they can provide tips as they relate to travel. Geek Squad is the first to participate with an article on Wireless Access while traveling. An article is in the works with more to come. | |||

| The new Twitter channel is quickly growing with close to 700 followers within our first month of posting. Feedback from followers has been very positive with many of them "re tweeting" our Discount messages to their fan base. Forwarding seems to depend on topic; however, some messages have reached close to 10,000 within minutes. It's been a great way to get messaging out quickly. Some clubs have actively included the feed on their websites with a solicitation for following. | |||

| The AAA YouTube channel is a great resource for videos which can provide a fun visual to your websites and eNewsletters. By AAA hosting a library of video content on YouTube, it provides a very user friendly environment for linking and embedding (see instructions on embedding above) video content to your online marketing efforts. Studies show that online video watching has grown 40% over last year which could suggest that people are reading less and watching more so it makes sense to add video content where you can. If you are unable to link to YouTube and embedding is not an option, we have developed pages on AAA.com which hosts all of our Discount related videos for you to link to.
