The Accelerator

AAA Driver Training Programs welcomes you to the first quarterly edition of The Accelerator: Move Forward with AAA Driver Training. We will provide driver training instructors with current industry news and research, teaching tips and techniques, along with questions and comments from instructors around the world. Designed by driver training instructors for driver training instructors, it will include relevant information that can be used immediately in your classroom or in-car training sessions.

We want to hear from you! Submit your feedback, questions, suggested teaching tips, and requests for information to AAAdtprograms@national.aaa.com.

Glad You Asked

Q. What is the AAA Approved Driving School Network?

A. As part of AAA's commitment to safety and service to members, AAA has launched a program to approve private driver training schools that meet AAA's stringent standards.

Although not available in all areas, driving schools that earn the "AAA Approved" designation can benefit in several ways, including:

  • Customer referrals direct from AAA
  • Promotional exposure
  • Discounts on vehicle purchases, financing, wireless service, uniforms, and AAA training materials
