Since 1920, the AAA School Safety Patrol program has provided millions of schoolchildren with a safer pedestrian environment. Working closely with teachers, police officers and crossing guards, these students take on the responsibility of helping others travel safely to and from school.

Serving in the Patrols is a very rewarding experience – for the student, but also for the advisor and the community. The program has been praised by safety and education groups for reducing injuries and deaths among 5- to 14-yearolds, the age group most at risk for pedestrian injury.

Recruiting new schools and patrollers has just gotten easier. AAA’s new 5-minute promotional DVD, Tomorrow Leader’s Today is designed to showcase the many reasons why implementing the AAA School Safety Patrol program makes sense for schools, students, and communities.
